Hi! My name is Vladimir Palcovic but I usually go by vlado as well. I would like to introduce myself on this info page. I was born in 1978 in Slovakia. In the past I worked as a salesman in hardware wholesale in my hometown Zilina. I came to the United States to study web-design in June, 2002. One of my goals is to become a skilled graphic and web designer. I believe I will succeed in Graphic Design Program. After my studies here in United States I would like to go back to Europe and to use my experience for opening a small business overethere. 
In my design projects I like to combine new technologies with traditional Fine Art. I like to design CD covers, magazines, and posters, web pages and ads in technology field. I love to draw using either pen or pencil. Line is one of the strongest elements in my view on design. I found Leonardo Da Vinci’s drawings very inspirational. During my free time I like to ride a bike, play soccer, basketball, or to have fun riding a snowboard. I also play darts. Other then these activities I like to explore the Pacific Northwest – it reminds me of my home country.
